I am reluctantly selling my fender American standard Texas special stratocaster. This guitar was made in 2002 and was one model above the American standard strat ( not to be confused with the current cheaper American special strat which is one model below the standard strat) It is essentially the same guitar as the American standard strat but with Fenders' factory upgrades including moto pearloid scratch plate and rear plate and custom shop Texas special pickups. The guitar originally was surf pearl metallic but I have had it refinished in two tone nitrocelullose by professional guitar builder John Diggins of Jaydee custom guitars. There are a few light surface scratches as is usual with the age but it looks fantastic and the frets are in great condition. Plays and sounds beautiful with all round great condition.
